Working with IBM, Corente helps make self-managing IT systems a reality
NEW YORK, NY, July 25, 2005—Corente today announced it has joined the IBM Self-Managing Autonomic Technology Mark Program.
Corente is a managed service provider with an on-demand application delivery and management offering that allows customers to deploy and manage mission-critical applications rapidly, seamlessly and securely over any network infrastructure to any location worldwide. A member of IBM's autonomic computing business partner intiative, Corente is helping to extend IBM's autonomic vision by providing a self-managing applications delivery and management environment. Corente is also part of IBM's PartnerWorld Industry Networks,a program designed to help business partners build and sell vertical solutions, industry-by-industry.
"Our goal as a company is to be recognized as the key enabler of the on-demand vision of our customers and partners—to securely and seamlessly deliver our customers' critical applications and to enable them to change as rapidly as the needs of their businesses," said Jim Zucco, CEO of Corente. "The market is crying out for a set of solutions that only IBM and Corente can deliver."

The initiative provides ISVs with the opportunity to display the IBM Self-Managing Autonomic Technology Mark on their products, demonstrating to customers the product contains autonomic technology from IBM to help them build self-managing systems.
